| Description | Edwin Charles Griffith Lascelles was the son of Edwin John M Lascelles and his wife Frances Elizabeth née Griffith. His birth was registered in the Chelsea registration district during the June quarter of 1890 and his parents' marriage was registered in the Keynsham (Somerset) registration district in the September quarter of 1885. Frances Elizabeth Griffith had been baptised at Llangoedmore parish church, Cardiganshire, on 5 July 1863, the daughter of Thomas Reynolds Griffith and his wife Julia.
