Lease for 30 years of land on the south side of Castle Pill with license to erect a grist mill, legt , floodgate and pond, to be built "with a pynyon next unto the lete to be sufficianthgly bilded with lyme and stones and 6 fote of every of the side walls in like form". All the tenants of the Lordship of Castle Pill were to have their corn ground at this mill 1) Emond Malifaunt, Lord of the Manor of Castle Pill and Margaret his wife 2) Leonard Studagh ships carpenter Rent :- 7 shillings to be paid in equal portions on the feast of St. Michael the Archangel, (29 Sep) and the feast of St. Philipp and St. James the apostles (1 May) 3 Jun 1745
