TitleCourt Roll of the manor court
DescriptionThe main concern of the court was with sheep. Many are presented as strays to be sold. The other concerns of the court at this time are the presentment of new tenants and any fines they might have to pay, presentment of defaulters not attending the court and of various repairs needed to gates and fences. Occasionally a constable is appointed.
Attached to the roll is a suit roll 1792-1794
