Description | Depositions re dispute between Robert Lloyde, an officer of the Sheriff of Pembroke and Lewis Harryes, Mayor of Haverfordwest, heard before the Council of Wales and the Marches. It appears that on 9th February 1572, having arrested Reece Jenkin Aubrey and Rice Gwyneth near the Old Bridge, Lloyde and another were, in turn, arrested by the Mayor's Officers for infringing the liberties of Haverfordwest (For further information on the affair see George Owen of Henllys by B. G. Charles, pp. 23, 24) |
