1 - Fly leaf of the Bible of Thomas Mathias Davies of Broomhill, Dale who died in 1865. It records the birth of all his children, starting in 1814, and other information about their lives and deaths and the lives of some of his grandchildren down to 1929

Cornelius assigns to John the lease for lives on Crabhole (Crab Hall) and Bothams in Marloes parish, together with the corn wind mill on Crabhole,which he inherited from his own father Gilbert Davies. The original lease was granted by the Honourable Thomas Cornwallis to Gilbert Davies on 18th October 1725. John promises to look after his mother and father
