[This building had been a gaol for Haverfordwest Town and County pre 1820 when the new gaol was built at the castle, it took all prisoners for Pembrokeshire and Haverfordwest. The St Thomas Green building was used as a lunatic asylum - presumably until the Carmarthenshire asylum was built. There is a note of it being used as a militia store in 1869.
