2 - Memorandum of agreement between Henry Thomas senior of Tyhen in the parish of Llandysilio Carmarthenshire and Henry Thomas junior. The father assigns his lease of Tyhen, which he holds as tenant of the Reverend James James, to the son T. E. Thomas is one of the witnesses
3 - Copy of a memorandum of agreement made between William Phillips of Latchygors in the parish of Llanfallteg, Carmarthenshire and Mary his wife, once the wife of Henry Thomas of Tyhen of the one part and Morris Thomas of Penraradd in the parish of Llandysilio (Llandissilio)Pembrokeshire of the other. The agreement is about the money left by the late Henry Thomas of Tyhen and was drawn up on 29 Jan 1851. It was sent as a letter to Reverend T. E. Thomas of Trehale near Mathry in Feb 1851

56 - Papers of the Scotchwell Estate, Haverfordwest The Scotchwell Estate located in the parish of Prendergast was originally a farm on the outskirts of Haverfordwest and in the hands of the Surman family in the 1700s. They sold to the Stokes family in 1794. John Lort Stokes of Scotchwell born in 1812 accompanied Charles Darwin on HMS Beagle as a Lieutenant in the Royal Navy. Having survived being speared by a native and escaped being eaten by a crocodile he went on to command the Beagle and ended his career as an Admiral. Later the estate passed to the Samson family. It has since become a caravan site and the house an old peoples home.
